Why we need Guru?

All of you who don’t have a Guru won’t be able to practice bhakti yoga because Sri Krishna only accepts service from his pure devotees.

What does pure devotee mean?

Pure devotee means that person who has realisation that he is the servant of Sri Krishna. That his physical body is only his vehicle. Pure devotee is one who is in direct communication with Sri Krishna at every moment.

He does not forget Krishna for a single second due to him being Krishna consciousness. This is the understanding of Krishna consciousness. Krishna consciousness does not belong to an institution or sect.

All of you who claim to accept Sri Krishna has supreme person will definitely follow his instructions in Bhagavad Gita. What does Sri Krishna say in Bhagavad Gita about Guru.

Please read for Verse 4.34 of Bhagavad Gita as it is together with purport then you will understand the truth about Guru. Without Guru your chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra will not give you God realisation. Even Sri Krishna accepted Guru so what to speak of you not accepting self realised Guru.

Only self realised Guru can give you Krishna because he has seen Krishna.

A conditioned soul will not be able to give you Sri Krishna because he himself has not realised Sri Krishna. Sri Krishna calls Arujuna a fool when he said he cannot kill his grandfather and teacher. Sri Krishna told Arjuna that he cannot kill anyone because the soul cannot be killed.

How many of you believe this?

Practically none of you believe this otherwise you would have given up bodily identification long time ago.

Why do you say this is my father,my wife,my son when Sri Krishna says he is the seed giving father?

This is all due to bodily identification.

If you wish to return to your spiritual home then you must get Guru and follow his instructions and render menial service to him.

This is the secret of God realisation.

There is no other way.
